About Transportation Project Manager of the Year Garrett McMullin

GarrettMcMullin111Garrett McMullin is a true expert in so many aspects of the construction process. His skill set covers everything from inspection, testing and survey, to engineering, estimating and construction. An unmatched attention to detail and self-set expectations for honesty in business relationships make him a favorite with project owners.

Garrett’s diverse experience and commitment to providing only the highest quality work make him a great project manager. He has a solid understanding of vital construction components, including: schedules, budgets, resource management, equipment maintenance, safety, environmental conditions, design, procurement and more. Garrett approaches his work in an organized and planned manner to ensure sound principles are followed and well documented. This sense of responsibility to his team and the project owner adds a level of quality service that is rarely matched in the industry.

Garrett recently finished construction on a CMGC project for UDOT on the South Interchange in Cedar City. This busy interchange was converted to a diverging diamond and the off and on ramps realigned to function more efficiently. Garrett’s design and construction expertise was a great asset to UDOT during the project, where he provided significant input into a design that has allowed for ease in constructability and exceptional quality. Near the culmination of the project, as is true to his altruistic nature, Garrett took extra time to give back to the City. With the help of his team, members of UDOT and City staff, they were able to construct a modular block landscape wall along a recently cut city trail system. Garrett’s team was proud to help excavate, place block and backfill the wall.

Congratulations Garrett!
