This Friday and Saturday, June 13th and 14th, we are thrilled to celebrate the 20th annual Art City Days Balloon Festival with our friends and family in Springville. Since 1994, we’ve had the opportunity to sponsor this great event for the town we are proud to call our home.
This year, we are excited to welcome 15 hot air balloon pilots from across the Intermountain West. The balloons will lift off each morning from the Springville Junior High School field area between 6:15 – 7:00 AM, depending on weather conditions.
Parents and children alike are welcome to get an up-close experience with these majestic giants. Come walk through the field as the pilots setup their balloons and watch them inflate!
As they launch, each balloon will drop candy and small prizes for the attending children. But, that’s not all. Stick around for helium balloons, face painting and other fun activities. Free donuts and juice will also be available thanks to our friends at Daylight Donuts and Sunroc Building Materials.
The Art City Days Balloon Festival presents a gorgeous photo opportunity. Submit your best images to the Balloon Festival Photo Contest for prizes. And, if you’re posting socially, use the hashtag #artcityballoons and we’ll compile and share your photos in our photo album on the W.W. Clyde Facebook and Twitter pages.
Bring your blankets, strollers and camera; and don’t worry about your bedhead. This is a Springville tradition you don’t want to miss.
