Jeff Clyde – President
As President of W.W. Clyde & Co., Jeff directs all operational functions of the organization. His expert leadership and mantra to ‘keep projects moving forward, on time and within budget’ have helped build a reputation for quality projects that W.W. Clyde & Co. maintains today.
Jeff’s unique heavy construction skillset emanates from a 27 year history with the company in various roles, including: operator, field office manager, foreman, project superintendent, and principal-in-charge. He has extensive experience in coordinating construction means and methods, managing resources, controlling crews, and organizing material and site logistics. He has also managed the legal and financial aspects of projects, ensuring the needs of the owners are met, while protecting the assets of W. W. Clyde & Co.
In addition to work history, Jeff has served as a National Director for the American Road Builders and Transportation Association (ARTBA), on various Associated General Contractors (AGC) committees, as Chair of the UVU Construction Management Advisory Board and as a board member of the Utah Construction Service Commission, among other positions.
Jeff is a 4th generation Clyde Co. family member and is passionate about the opportunity the Clyde Companies have to build up local communities. He and his wife Cheryl reside in Highland, Utah. They have three children, seven grandchildren and enjoy traveling together.
Scott Okelberry – Vice President of Construction
Having spent more than 20 years with the W.W. Clyde & Co. organization, Scott Okelberry now manages all procurement and business development operations within the company in his role as Vice President of Construction.
Scott has extensive experience in all areas of heavy construction, including: foreman, superintendent, estimator, project engineer, project manager, vice president of special projects, and other positions. His favorite project work includes Utah Winter Sports Park Ski Jump Construction, LDS Heber Valley Youth Camp Project, and the Pioneer Crossing Road and Interchange Project.
Scott maintains a strong relationship with Brigham Young University, where he received both a bachelors degree in Construction Management and a masters degree in Business Administration. He currently serves on the BYU Construction Management - Industry Advisory Board where he served as President in 2012. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors for the Utah Chapter of the AGC.
A self-proclaimed handyman, Scott enjoys giving back to the community through volunteering with local groups, including the Boy Scouts of America and Hilltop Aquatic Swim Team. He and his wife Debbie reside in American Fork.
Dustin Olson – Vice President of Field Operations
Dustin brings to W.W. Clyde & Co. an affinity for carrying out projects that surpass expectations. In his position as Vice President of Field Operations, Dustin is responsible for assigning appropriate roles for each project team, ensuring contracts are in place and budgets are on track, and confirming that all necessary resources are available to complete the job as required.
His past experience as field engineer, project manager and operations manager assist him in his current role. A bachelors degree in Construction Management and subsequent masters degree in Business Administration also provide him with a valuable skill set that qualify him to oversee Field Operations for the company.
Dustin presently serves as a member of the AGC highway Safety Committee, AGC Highway Committee, and UAPA Operations Committee.
In his spare time, Dustin enjoys outdoor activities, especially fly fishing and backpacking. He currently resides in Highland, Utah with his wife and four children.
Bryan Flake – Director of Human Resources
Bryan is the Director of Human Resources for W.W. Clyde & Co. and Geneva Rock Products. Bryan represents the company with the various unions W.W Clyde & Co. works with to insure a stable and effective workforce. He enjoys coaching managers in employee relations, handling difficult situations and motivating teams to high performance.
Having worked in the Human Resources arena for 29 years, Bryan’s HR experience covers several industries including: construction, semiconductors, wood products and forestry. He brings a wealth of understanding in both union and non-union settings.
Bryan holds his Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification and has served as the Chapter President of the Society for Human Resource Management in Idaho and Montana. Bryan has an MBA from Boise State University and a BA in Organizational Communications from Brigham Young University.
Bryan loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker, especially enjoying climbing high mountain peaks. He has climbed Mt. Rainier, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Hood and other trails in Chile and Bolivia whose peaks surpassed 20,000 feet.
Bryan and his wife MayLynn have been married for 33 years. They have seven children and seven grandchildren.
Bruce Dallin – Director of Safety
Bruce is the Director of Safety for the Clyde Geneva Group, and has been a key figure in managing the safety and health division at W.W. Clyde & Co for 21 years.
In his role, Bruce is responsible for the health and safety management of multiple concrete and asphalt plants, maintenance facilities, mining operations and a wide variety of construction projects. He finds joy and satisfaction in influencing people to make improvements in their own safety that will positively impact their future and quality of life.
Bruce is a Certified Safety Professional and is a member of the Association of General Contractor’s Safety Committee, having served as Chairman in 2000 and 2011. He received his degree in Occupational Safety from Brigham Young University. Bruce is also actively involved in serving his community in various capacities, including Boy Scouts of America leader and American Fork High School Band supporter.
In his off-time, Bruce is a man of many interests. He enjoys golf, fly fishing, rod building and many other activities he attributes to his longtime membership in the Hobby of the Month Club. Bruce resides in American Fork, Utah with his wife AnnMarie and their two children.
Brad Christofferson – Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Brad is responsible for procuring work for the company. This includes establishing business relationships, overseeing project estimating, managing business development, and coordinating alternative delivery proposals and pursuits.
Brad has an extensive work history in the construction industry. Since beginning as a student estimator for Geneva Rock Products, he has worked in a variety of positions at various construction firms in his 30 year career. Brad’s experience stems from time spent in the following roles: quality control technician, project coordinator, division manager and company president.
Brad is a long-time member of the AGC, having served on the Highway Committee, multiple task force panels and as Chairman of the Builders Committee. Brad has also spent time serving his community as Chairman of the Lehi City Planning Commission. He received a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University.
A self-proclaimed family man, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife Lynne and their five children. Brad also enjoys gardening and doubts there is anything better than fresh corn on the cob dripping with butter or a sweet tomato right off the vine.
