South Cedar Interchange, Cedar City Service, W.W. Clyde Gives back

cedarcityservice4We’ve been busy in Southern Utah this year. One of our projects in the area is the South Cedar Interchange job in Cedar City. Our crews started construction on this project in early March.

Over the past seven months, we have been impressed with the cooperation of the Cedar City residents and city staff as we have coordinated construction and traffic flow in the area. As we near completion on this project, our team made sure to find an opportunity to give back to this fabulous community.

On Tuesday September 9th, our W.W. Clyde & Co. team, in connection with members of the Utah Department of Transportation and Cedar City staff, South Cedar Interchange Service, W.W. Clyde Servicewas able to construct a modular block landscape wall along a new city trail system that had been cut on 820 South 300 East.

Seven W.W. Clyde & Co. crew members helped to excavate, place approximately 2,100 blocks and backfill the wall.

We would like to thank the Cedar City staff and Utah Department of Transportation partners who helped us complete this service project. We are grateful to have the opportunity to be Building Better Communities in every way we can.

About the South Cedar Interchange Project

The improvements on this Cedar City project will accommodate future travel demand and improve safety.  The project will complete in mid-October.
