With constant technological advances, WW Clyde is continually progressing with the field of power generation by providing services to power plants, wind and solar farms, transmission lines and hydroelectric plants and dams throughout the Intermountain Region. These services include mass excavation, process piping, excavation, structural foundations, and mass concrete work.
WW Clyde provides civil support for power plants, providing gas and steam.
In wind farm construction, we build the supports and installation of infrastructure and offer design and management of the project. We act as an EPC contractor, where we engineer, procure, and construct, similar to a Design-Build. We have experience completing engineering to understand and build what is needed. We know how to work with electrical engineers and electrical subcontractors to minimize risk.
We have experience completing hydro-electric dams. As the general contractor, we completed the Jordanelle Hydro-electric plant and are able to provide similar work.
In solar projects, we can perform earthwork, foundations, and installation of solar panels connecting to the collection system.
We have completed up to 230 miles of transmission line in one project. We can provide civil support for transmission projects. We have experience pouring pads for towers, minimizing terrain invasion, rock blasting, clearing the land, cutting roads, making the minimal clearances, dust control, and more.
In substation construction, we can provide necessary services including leveling the area, providing dirt pads, drainage, gabions, and more. We can provide the rock for the electrical equipment, base for the site, and install fencing.
As the construction industry continues to evolve, you can expect W.W. Clyde to bring the latest technology and innovations to the table. We are dependable and get the job done as your partner, committed to working with you honestly. We know how to do complex heavy civil projects in energy.
