The second annual WW Clyde Family Fun Day was filled with fun and heartfelt support for Construction Angels. The event successfully raised $18,500 in funds to support families of fallen construction workers.
Attendees gathered at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds Event Center in Aurora, Colorado, for a day full of activities. From a lively 5K fun run/walk in the morning to competitive kickball and cornhole tournaments later in the day, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Families of all ages came together to compete.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better turnout,” said Liana Labriola, one of the event coordinators. “The support from the community was overwhelming, and it’s heartwarming to see everyone come together for such a meaningful cause.”
As a non-profit organization, Construction Angels provides immediate financial assistance and grief counseling to the families of construction workers who have tragically lost their lives on the job. Their mission is to help families navigate the difficult times following such a loss by providing necessary support and resources.
The WW Clyde Family Fun Day not only united everyone involved through fun activities but also highlighted the importance of community and giving back. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed in making this event a success for the second year in a row!
