Greeting at safety week

Safety Week was a big success at WW Clyde this year! In 2024, with the addition of the Great Plains Division, we extended our celebrations across two weeks to hit every project site across our three divisions.

WW Clyde President Dustin Olson and Vice Presidents John Thompson and Jeff Cochran traveled with HR Director Garrett Updike, Project Controls Director Celeina Cullum and Safety Director Nate Neal to each site.

From April 21-26, this leadership team kicked things off with visits to the Great Plains and Southwest Divisions, engaging with our teams and reinforcing our safety-first culture. Then, from May 15-17, the Intermountain Division hosted the final leg of the Safety Week tour.

“Our goal is to make safety a core part of our daily operations, and Safety Week is a great reminder of the importance of protecting each other on the job,” Nate said. “We are dedicated to ensuring everyone goes home safe every day.”

Throughout Safety Week, team members actively participated by sharing their experiences and photos on social media using #safetyalways. Leadership also provided Safety Week hats to everyone at the job sites they visited as a way of saying thank you.

“Thanks to the team at WW Clyde for visiting during the Safety Week tour,” said Steve VanOster, Director of Training. “What a great way to get our folks to connect with each other.”

“One of a few companies I have worked for where the actual leadership comes out and gets involved with the workers,” said Jason Greymountain, Heavy Equipment Operator at Centuri. “Was nice to see and meet them.”

As we wrap up Safety Week in 2024, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every team member for their commitment to safety. Your efforts in the field are what make WW Clyde a leader in safety. Stay safe, and let’s continue to prioritize safety every day.
