This project required demolition and removal of existing outlet structure, existing valve, and other tunnelshaft demolition work. The Three Creeks Dam Rehabilitation job proved to be a challenging project due to the elevation and remote location.Work included:

  • Removal of existing downstream drain pipes
  • New concrete outlet structure was constructed
  • New earthen downstream berm, drain blanket and toe drain, an emergency spillway channel shotcrete soil nail wall and fuse plug, and 30-foot deep bedrock relief wells with associated drain piping
  • Raised the existing dam crest by 1.5 feet
  • 300 lineal feet of fused 36-inch HDPE pipe, 3500 cubic yards of reservoir embankment, 200 lineal feet of liner in a tunnel, and 10,000 cubic feet of excavation
