Safety Always
Committed To High Safety Standards
We are committed to high safety standards because we value people. Our commitment to health and safety includes not only our crews but also our partners, clients and community members. We maintain a robust safety program with dedicated safety staff that support all our projects. We build safety into our culture because our goal is “Safety Always.”
In order to maintain this culture of safety, all employees have a part in incident prevention, the safety of fellow workers and enforcement of all safety requirements and procedures. We build safety into our work through daily morning safety talks, toolbox trainings and job hazard analyses ahead of work activities. Through proper planning and continuous communication, we eliminate safety hazards and prevent damage, injury and loss to our employees, subcontractors, consultants and all project participants.
OUR SAFETY COMMITMENT
Safety is a shared responsibility and our top priority. We uphold the highest standards to protect our employees and the communities we serve. Our “Safety Always” commitment ensures that every action prioritizes well-being.
To foster a culture of accountability, we conduct regular corporate and on-site safety trainings. Team members are empowered to speak up about safety concerns, and we recognize and reward employees who suggest improvements, promoting a culture of safety innovation on every project.
Comprehensive Safety Preparation
Preparation is essential for worksite safety. Before each job, we implement key precautionary measures, including:
- Pre-Construction Hazard Analyses
- Site-Specific Emergency Action Planning
- Equipment Inspections & Maintenance
- Equipment Operator Trainings
- Injury Prevention Trainings
- Hazmat Trainings
- Utility Awareness Trainings
- Heavy Equipment Safety Trainings
Investing in Safety and Innovation
Acquiring top safety professionals is central to our commitment. With 75 years of combined experience, our Safety Department includes OSHA Construction Outreach Trainers, MSHA Approved Instructors and Certified Safety Professionals who bring extensive expertise to our organization.
To enhance driver safety, we’re investing in safety cameras for our commercial vehicles. These cameras offer both external and internal views, promoting safe driving habits and protecting team members in not-at-fault accidents. They also integrate seamlessly with Clyde Companies’ enterprise technology systems.
