Since 1926, we have accumulated expertise, equipment, and reputation as a leading contractor. Almost 100 years ago, WW Clyde did its first DOT job near Pequop Summit in northern Nevada. Our company was founded on earthwork and road construction.
Now, earthwork is our specialty and our number one strength. After a century of experience and with the development of modern technology, we have the capability to move massive amounts of rock and earth. Following the Thistle Landslide in 1983, we played a major part in rescue efforts and rehabilitation of the area. In 2013, we excavated 478,000 cubic yards of rock for the construction of Southern Parkway in St. George, Utah.
From mass excavation to grading and road preparation, we provide a wide range of earthwork services. We have the bandwidth to complete both small and large projects, with the capability to move more than twelve million cubic yards of dirt on a single project. We are proud to ensure customer satisfaction—no matter the size of the project—with our genuine commitment to quality work and employee safety.
Now, we continue to take on earthwork projects, ranging from 250,000 cubic yards to 12.5 million cubic yards. We have the resources and experience to handle the job with an understanding that quality earthwork is the foundation that all great projects are built upon.
