WW Clyde has experience and confidence in alternative delivery building methods.
We recognize the advantages inherent to alternative delivery procurement. We know how to maximize the collaboration with Designers and Owners so projects are delivered faster, risk is minimized, costs are reduced, constructability is improved, and innovative ideas and solutions are implemented.
In the past 15 years, WW Clyde has constructed or is currently constructing more than 25 alternative delivery projects. By implementing new construction and engineering technology, we can deliver paperless projects with 3D modeling. We accomplished UDOT’s first paperless alternative delivery project, SR-20, connecting I-15 and US-89 and providing access to Bryce Canyon National Park.
We have an excellent understanding of the Design-Build and CMGC processes. Since UDOT started using alternative delivery procurement, WW Clyde has championed this building process as a major contractor for UDOT projects throughout the state. Our work has been integral in the development of UDOT’s paperless specifications.
Alternative delivery reduces risk – especially for complex projects. With our constructability reviews throughout the project, we can significantly decrease project risk. We are a great collaborator and an expert contractor, dedicated to designing innovative solutions.
In CM/GC, we involve the owner from the start, beginning with conceptual phase planning. We continue honing the plan with design meetings to discuss the ins and out of the project, so the project can pivot on the final set of plans.
We believe in being transparent and adding great value to the team. We are problem-solvers and we always work in the best interest of the owner in alternative delivery projects.
